A National Rifle Association employee accidentally shot himself at the influential gun rights group’s national headquarters in Virginia, police said Friday. The employee, a 46-year-old man who was not identified, was reportedly holstering the weapon when it accidentally went off. He suffered a minor lower-body injury and was transported to a local hospital. The incident occurred at the organization’s National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia. The NRA has not commented.
