A point of contention in the George Zimmerman trial has been whether the self-appointed neighborhood vigilante or Trayvon Martin was on top during a fight preceding the shooting and subsequent death of the teenage boy. Today, John Good, a former neighbor who witnessed the altercation, described a scene where Martin was straddling Zimmerman. Good’s testimony contradicts that of another neighbor given yesterday. Good was unable to corroborate Zimmerman’s claims that Martin was slamming his head into the concrete sidewalk but that he heard Zimmerman crying out: “The person on the bottom, I could hear a 'Help,’” Good said.
