Ecuador’s ambassador to the United Kingdom said on Wednesday that a suspicious microphone was found in its embassy, where WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange has been camped out for more than a year. Ana Alban told reporters that it’s not clear who planted the bug or how long it’s been there, but that the microphone is being examined by experts. The bug was said to be found in Alban’s office. Assange has been staying at the embassy to avoid extradition to Sweden.
