Imagine a sleepover minus the Ouija board and plus Harry Reid. That's essentially what Senate Democrats held last night in an attempt to reinvigorate the fight to combat climate change. Twenty-eight Democrats participated in the first major effort by the newly created Climate Action Task Force in Congress. While most Republicans were expected to ignore the all-night jam session, Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma joined in/spoiled the fun by launching into a 33-minute diatribe against climate-change "alarmists” and accused liberals of “cooking the science” to conform to their agenda. Sen. Elizabeth Warren countered, saying "We are on the cusp of a climate crisis, a point of no return that will threaten our health, our economy, and our planet."
