Cocofloss may actually get me to be a regular flosser.

If you told me five years ago that I would be sitting here raving about floss, I would have laughed in your face. Flossing, to me, is an afterthought. Something you only do if you have something stuck in your teeth. I hated it. The feeling of a waxy cord being dragged along my gums gave me goosebumps. But, if I wanted to have healthy teeth, I had to start actually doing it. Then I found Cocofloss. At $25 for a 3-pack, it’s not your average drugstore teeth string. This is made from hundreds of coconut fibers that, when used, expands and helps soak up all the gunk in between your teeth. Think of it like a sponge cleaning food off of plates. It also comes in unique flavors like strawberry and orange. Since it’s not a synthetic fiber, it’s gentler and when my dentist used it on me, I didn’t brace for the pain. This candle makes my entire apartment smell like summer.

I have a candle obsession, but I’m very particular with my scents. I don’t love overly-fruity scents and forget about coconut (that’s a long story that I’ll tell you some other time). The problem with those two very common scents is that they define the majority of summery candles on the market. Except for this one from Otherland. Called Matchpoint, it marries the fresh and floral notes of cucumber and bright jolts of fresh grass. There’s even, apparently, hints of tennis ball in there (hence the name). It’s a summer candle unlike any other summer candle that I’ve had in my home and I’m so glad to have found it. Now, to find a wintery candle that isn’t just tree-scented. - Jillian

Vizio's soundbar changed how I watch TV.

The value that Vizio is promoting with its latest release of soundbars and TVs is distilled pretty well into its 36-inch 3.1.2-Channel Soundbar System. The main speaker attaches into your TV’s HDMI port and wirelessly connects to the subwoofer, which you can place anywhere you please (we put ours to the left of our couch). And then you can just let the dedicated app personalize and perfect your listening experience. You’ll find volume can be much, much lower than usual because the depth of the sound envelopes the room. From hearing more detail and feeling more immersed with the subwoofer’s bass output, it’s a really nifty upgrade to anyone who wants to experience their movies and shows as intended. - Gideon
